Are your sauces vegan?

Yes, all of our sauces are vegan! Unless of course you decide to pour it on your pulled pork...

I've seen your bottles before... Do they look different?

Glad you asked! We recently launched our three reimagined versions of our favorite low-sugar sauces. The revamped flavors are also paired with a vibrant and fun packaging design. Each of the new recipes were formulated to be EVEN tastier, Whole30 Approved, and non-GMO certified, so you get even more of the good without the bad. Don't take our word for it, treat yo' self to some sauce today!

I don't get it! How are your sauces sweetened without sugar?

 Yes, our sauces are Dr. Axe Keto Diet approved! With that being said, we always suggest that you consult your dietician or nutritionist to ensure that our products are the right fit for you.

What are your shipping options?

Ah, yes. That's our "special sauce". Our sauces are sweetened with mother nature's most natural source of sugar... fruit! We owe our sweetness to two of life's sweetest delights: apples and pineapples. You can thank that dynamic duo for a deliciously sweet flavor with no added sugar!

Do your sauces need to be refrigerated?

Once opened, our sauces should be refrigerated for optimal freshness and longevity. They also have a 36-month shelf life.

What the heck is green banana flour?

Wonderful question. This is a powder made from peeled unripe bananas that are dried and ground into flour. This packs plenty of healthy benefits that you can learn about here

Are your sauces gluten and dairy free?

Yes, our sauces are both gluten and dairy free.

Are all ingredients used organic?

No, our products are not organic. However, they are non-GMO certified. If certified organic products are important to you, please share your feedback with us by sending a note to info@haloandcleaver.com

Where are your products made and manufactured?

Our sauces are proudly made and manufactured in Denver, Colorado.

Why is this more expensive than "regular" sauces and condiments?

The simple answer is quality. We use 100% natural ingredients like apples, bananas, vinegar, and pineapple... these tend to be pricier than fake ingredients. Trust us, you'll taste (and feel) the difference!

What are "natural flavors"?

Our natural flavors are a mixture of ingredients that only come from things found in nature, like spices, fruits, and plants. Like all of our ingredients, our natural flavors are non-GMO and don't contain any artificial colors or preservatives.

    About Shipping and Returns:

    What are your shipping options?

    We currently ship to the United States. We offer Local Deliver (Free) to select markets, Economy (Paid), and UPS Next Day Air (Paid).

    What is your return policy?

    Our goal is that you are happy with your purchase. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
    To start a return, you can contact us at orders@haloandcleaver.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can always contact us for any return questions at orders@haloandcleaver.com

    What if there are damages or other issues with my order?

    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. 
    We cannot accept an item that has already been opened, however we are happy to work with you if you are unhappy with your purchase.

    Do you offer refunds?

    We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, you will be automatically refunded through your original method of payment. Please remember that it can take some time for processing through your bank/credit card after the refund!
